Course Registration, Prerequisite, and Chair's Override:

Students can register themselves for most classes (registration instructions). If you cannot register and/or need help, please come to Hany Makhlouf Academic Center for in-person assistance. For technical issues, you may also call UDC Technical Support at 202-274-5941 (browser issues, system errors, etc.).

Only Department Chairs and Deans have the system registration authority, and can register students for classes. Faculty Advisors do not have the registration authority, and can only remove the Advising Hold.

Therefore, for any prerequisite overrides (Chair's Override), to get into a closed class, and/or to register for the final capstone course (BGMT-419 – undergraduate, or BGMT-529 – graduate), students need to submit the following brief e-mail request:

e-mail the Advising Center at the following information:

2. Semester & Year.

3. Course Name, Number, Section, and CRN of the class(es).

4. Fully completed attached Course Guide (visit Advising Center for help if missing)

5. Student’s brief e-mail statement explaining why, and supporting evidence if applicable.

2) E-mails the Advising Center at

Part 3 – SBPA Advising Center

Please note we will do our best to help you get into a class if there are seats available.
